Hey guys!
It ended up being a very laid back, fun competition and most people seem generally pleased with their results, which is good. I hope to see you at our next Texas competition!

I'm pleased to announce that the next official Texas Speedcubing competition will head back down to South Texas! However, instead of being the "South Texas Fall 2010" or something similar, we decided to host the first ever "Small Cubes Open". Our schedule will consist solely of official events pertaining to "Small Cubes" (2x2 and 3x3).

Where?
Kenmont Montessori School
2734 North Coria Street
Brownsville, TX

Directions with Google Maps!

When?
Saturday, October 23rd, 2010
8:30am - 5pm

What should I bring?
Other than your puzzles to compete with, please bring some money as there will be a registration fee in order to cover the venue's expenses. The fee to compete in as many events as you like will be $12. There may also be "Texas Speedcubing" T-Shirts on sale for $15. By the way, make sure that your cube's stickers are relatively nice and neat if you will be competing in 3x3 BLD!

Spectators are welcome and encouraged to volunteer as "judges". Judging is a very simple, but necessary job. Details will be explained the day of the competition.

Don't worry about having to advance though; just have fun and see what happens. Even if you don't advance, you can still hang out with everyone (which is really the best part) without having to stress out!
